Canadian Committee

The mission of this committee is to provide a forum for the Canadian chapter presidents and VP's to exchange experiences and ideas for strengthening RMA's contribution to risk management excellence in Canada. The goal of the committee is to share the Canadian RMA experience with senior chapter officers. Credit Portfolio Management Committee
The purpose of this committee is to advance the measurement and management of credit risk in a portfolio context. More specifically, the committee will advance the research and practical applications of credit risk portfolio management strategies, techniques, and tools among member institutions. In addition, the committee will provide recommendations and guidance to RMA staff with regard to research, data product initiatives, and benchmarking activities as well as in-person peer sharing events, such as round tables and conferences.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee seeks to broaden RMA's relevance and value for member institutions of all sizes, associates and non-bank professionals, through new initiatives, enhancements to existing tools, and expansion of the breadth of membership. This committee's responsibility is to manage the annual recruitment and retention efforts of the local chapters, including the implementation of the ongoing campaign for both institutions and individuals supported by the Chapters and Member Relations Council. The committee also reviews the RMA Member types and makes recommendations for the creation of any additional types that will help to increase RMA's reach within the industry. Each year the committee also creates the membership session that is taught at the annual Chapter Leaders Conference to help local membership chairs prepare for roles.

Operational Risk Council
This council’s mission is to promote sound practices in the management of operational risk in financial service institutions worldwide. Securities Lending Committee

The primary objective of the committee is to promote sound securities lending practices within its members and the industry. The committee is responsible for building and maintaining relations with the institutions engaged in the lending of securities worldwide.
