The RMA/ORX Global Conference on Operational Risk will focus on Life After Basel—What’s Next for Operational Risk Management? The conference will be held March 9-13, 2008, in New York City.
Philadelphia, PA (December 12, 2007) RMA is completing plans for its annual Global Conference on Operational Risk (G-COR) to be held in New York on March 9-13, 2008. “G-COR is the first truly global conference on operational risk developed by operational risk practitioners for operational risk practitioners,” said Charles Taylor, RMA director of operational risk. “The most senior chief operational risk managers in the industry will discuss their concerns and current priorities. Attendees will gather insights into some of the most critical issues facing the industry today.”
G-COR speakers include experienced professionals from throughout the financial services industry and regulatory community. Featured speakers include Roger Cole, director, supervision and regulation, Federal Reserve System; Jay G. Newberry, managing director and head of operational risk, Citi; Joseph A. Sabatini, managing director, JPMorgan Chase and chairman of ORX, and Yousef A.
