ISLA/RMA Set Date for Conference on International Securities Lending

Philadelphia, Pa. (March 4, 2002) -- RMA—The Risk Management Association will hold its eleventh annual Conference on International Securities Lending on May 14-16, 2002 at the Inter-Continental Wien in Vienna, Austria. The conference is jointly sponsored by RMA and the International Securities Lending Association (ISLA).

"In addition to a comprehensive business program, we also two have excellent keynote speakers," said Curtis Knight, RMA's director of Securities Lending. "Rt. Hon. Lord Nigel Lawson, former Chancellor of the Exchequer and current chairman of the Central Europe Trust, will address the Conference on Wednesday. Jeremy Rifkin, founder and president, Foundation on Economic Trends, will address the Conference on Thursday."

ISLA represents the common interests of securities lenders in the UK and continental Europe and acts as a liaison with regulators and other market participants to assist in the secure and competitive development of the stock lending markets.
